The Switchback showing is located above a road switchback, approximately 6 kilometres south-southeast of Treasure Mountain peak. It is situated in the southern region of the Treasure Mountain property, approximately 39 kilometres east of Terrace, B.C.

The Switchback showing is within a greater than 14 kilometre north trending zone of copper+/-silver mineralization extending from Clore River valley to Kleanza River valley.

The Switchback occurrence is characterized as a 1.5 to 2.0 metre wide fault zone comprised of strongly sheared and altered rocks locally containing pervasive malachite. A new copper occurrence was found in 2008 just below the Switchback Zone, where a shear zone bearing copper was noted during the bedrock mapping. A 1 metre chip sample (H229568) across the shear returned 0.35 per cent Cu and 3.6 grams per tonne Ag (Assessment Report 37213).

In 2011, Trade Wind Ventures contracted Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp. to fly an electromagnetic and magnetic airborne geophysical survey over the Treasure Mountain property, which included the Switchback area.

The exploration program by Decade Resources Ltd. in 2017 re-sampled the previously known Switchback 1.5 to 2 metre wide fault zone. The fault is comprised of strongly sheared and altered rocks locally containing pervasive malachite. A 1.4 metre chip sample across the fault returned 0.79 per cent Cu and 10.7 grams per tonne Ag (Assessment Report 37213).
